This paper is about how the look of tattoos is influencing fashion shows as they are now. Tattoos used to be about belonging to a specific group or being outside of mainstream society, but now people generally accept them as a way to be artistic and show who they are. The research is based on looking at things visually - specifically chosen fashion shows, fashion history collections, and magazines about the fashion world - to understand how tattoos are being used in high fashion. What's been found is that you see more models with tattoos, clothes are being designed with tattoo designs on them, and tattoos are being used more and more to make a strong visual impact during a show. They're being used to enhance how things look. The paper also discusses how tattoos are changing what we think of as beautiful, and are helping to increase how different, special, and real fashion models appear. It also points out the oddity of how tattoos originally meant something, and now are being sold as a product, and the issue of fashion taking from other cultures. Despite these problems, tattoos are a very important part of fashion today and represent changes in society as a whole. Ultimately, the way tattoos look is very important in changing what fashion is becoming now, and the paper suggests that more research should be done on the cultural and artistic implications of tattoos in the fashion systems of countries around the globe.
